Woman in Red

A very nice piece of art. You have made a good use of values and light to create a sense of form. The contrast of the red clothing with the rest of the muted colors of the picture is pleasing to the eye, especially with the attention to lighting. It adds more of a creative and artistic quality to the painting, and makes an impact.

However, a few things to work on would be the symmetry of the arches. The one closer to the foreground appears slightly warped. Also, on the left side of the picture you could show some more values in the shadows, adding a bit more depth to the picture.

Other than that, though, I think this is a really nice work of art and your sense of perspective and contrast is great!
